Taco Bell Celebrates Taco Tuesday With New $5 Taco Box Deal

Taco Bell spearheaded an effort last year to have the ‘Taco Tuesday’ trademark released from rival Taco John’s, allowing other restaurants to use the word without fear of legal consequences. Now that they’re more flexible, the chain is offering a new meal package in honor of Taco Tuesday.

The new $5 Taco Discovery Box is available at Taco Bell every Tuesday from April 23 through June 4, according to the company’s announcement. Included in the package is a medium fountain drink, two Doritos Locos Tacos, one of the chain’s new Cantina Chicken Crispy Tacos, and three original Crunchy Tacos, each with 170 calories.

Taco Bell is aiming for the new taco box to do double duty: provide consumers with great value and get them to try the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, which was introduced in March as part of the brand-new Cantina Chicken Menu.

Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery made a statement saying that last year’s Taco Tuesday was just the beginning and that the company is now responsible for providing fans with fresh innovations, experiences, and value-driven offers that will keep Taco Bell a part of their Tuesday routines.

With the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco included in our $5 Taco Discovery Box, customers have an easier than ever chance to sample our new Cantina Chicken Menu, which is swiftly becoming a fan favorite.

Taco Bell is offering a new $5 Taco Discovery Box for a limited time. Customers who are interested can place their orders in-restaurant, online, or through the app.

In a new sitcom-inspired advertising campaign, stars Jason Sudeikis and LeBron James will attempt rollerblading, beekeeping, or the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco on Tuesdays to celebrate the launch.

In May 2023, Taco Bell and James worked together to promote Taco Tuesday’s trademark liberation. Taco Bell’s new Cantina Chicken Menu debuted earlier this year, and Sudeikis was a part of that campaign.

Taco Bell is releasing a slew of new and exciting products this week, including a brand new taco box. The beloved Nacho Fries will be back on April 25 for their longest run ever, the restaurant revealed last week.

Taco Bell’s new loaded nacho fries are the product of a collaboration with Secret Aardvark, a hot sauce brand based in Portland, Oregon. Pico de gallo, nacho cheese sauce, a blend of ranch and Secret Aardvark’s Serrabanero sauce, three-cheese blend, slow-roasted chicken, and reduced-fat sour cream make up the toppings.

Peach Mango, Strawberry Passionfruit, and Dragonfruit Berry are the three new Agua Refrescas flavors that Taco Bell has started testing. As of right now, you can only get these beverages at the 2222 Barranca Parkway Taco Bell in Irvine, California.

A wider Agua Refrescas debut could be in the works, though, because Taco Bell is known to pilot new menu items at some stores before releasing them to the public.
