A mug of hot chocolate is one of the most festive ways to combat the cold December weather. But until the end of the year, Starbucks is kicking up the holiday spirit with a special deal.
Every remaining weekend in December, the coffee chain will be giving consumers free cups of hot chocolate. A complimentary short (8-ounce) Hot Chocolate will be given out to every customer who orders a large handmade beverage at any Starbucks outlet over the next three weekends.
So, whether you’re looking for a little more something to perk yourself up or want to carry home a second drink to share with a loved one, you may do it at no extra cost.
Customers who order in-store or through the drive-thru are the only ones eligible for the free hot chocolate deal, so plan accordingly.
If you’re a lover of Starbucks but aren’t particularly fond of hot chocolate, you should still check out the other great sales happening before the year ends. The restaurant unveiled a new holiday deal last week called “ThursYays” that offers 50% off any drink all through December.
Each Thursday this month, from 12 to 6 p.m. local time, you can take advantage of the deal. Additionally, this promotion is only available to Starbucks Rewards members, so if you aren’t currently a member but would like to get a cheap drink, you should definitely signup. It’s free and easy.
Customers who download the Starbucks app will be able to get the discount coupon. They can either put it on themselves when they place their mobile orders in advance or have their barista do it when they’re in the store.
These innovative and exciting promos were launched by Starbucks approximately one month after the 2023 holiday menu was unveiled. Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Caramel Brulée Latte are some of the holiday-themed drinks that will be available this year, along with a new addition: Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai.
Among the chain’s holiday offerings are the Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Gingerbread Loaf, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, and Snowman Cookie.
For those looking to add a festive touch to their chilled beverages, Starbucks has launched four new cold foams: Peppermint Chocolate Cream, Sugar Cookie, Chestnut Praline, and Caramel Brulée. These were debuted last month.
