For many years running, Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen, Aldi’s take-and-bake pizza line, has been named to the Fan Favorites list. Despite the lack of sauce and cheese, another Mama Cozzi product is causing quite a stir among Aldi customers.
This nine-ounce cookie, lovingly named the “Pizza Cookie,” is chock-full of chocolate chunks and is ready to heat and devour. This product is only $3.99, according to an Instagram post from the @theamazingaldi fan account of Aldi.
A large cookie, as one might expect, caused quite a stir online, with consumers gushing over their desire to buy the product. In a video review of the Pizza Cookie, one TikTok user gave it a perfect score of “1000/10.”
More than 5,700 people commented on the post, and it gained a lot of devoted followers.
“Aldi is always surprising me,” gushed a TikTok user.
“Alright, I’m planning to visit Aldi tomorrow,” another person included.
Preheating the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, placing the cookie (still in its pan) on the middle rack, and heating for three minutes, or until warm, will transform this into a chewy, gooey delicacy. Two or three minutes of cooling time is required before serving the dessert.
Adding your favorite ice cream to this cookie will take it to the next level. According to a TikTok user, “What’s a pizookie without a scoop of ice cream on top?” in reference to the famous cookie skillet dessert offered at BJ’s Brewhouse & Restaurant.
