Since it was discontinued many years ago, fans have never ceased demanding for the reintroduction of another popular potato item, despite the fact that Arby’s is famed for its curly fries, which are considered to be among the best in the world. Since the beginning of this week, their request has at long last been granted.
On July 1, Arby’s Potato Cakes, which are a fan favorite and contain 247 calories, were officially brought back to the menu. More than three years have passed since the sandwich restaurant removed them from the menu in 2021, shortly after launching new crinkle-cut fries.
The relaunch happens more than three years after the removal. It has been reported by Arby’s that consumers have been grieving the loss ever since it occurred.
Potato Cakes are Arby’s modern take on the traditional hash brown patty. They are made of shredded potato that has been fried until it is golden brown and crispy. A large number of consumers have already resorted to social media to express their joy over their reappearance, despite the fact that they have only been available on menus for a single day.
One admirer noted in an X post, “This is a time for rejoicing,” and they were right.
Someone else mentioned that Arby’s Potato Cakes have made their month, and they weren’t joking.
An initial fee of $2.39 will be applied to an order of three Potato Cakes. Fans shouldn’t wait too long before placing an order at their neighborhood Arby’s because they will only be available for a short period at participating stores around the country.
According to the press release, the bakery business has formed a partnership with actor Kyle MacLachlan, who is described as a “Potato Cakes enthusiast,” in order to promote the comeback of the item. In addition, Arby’s has just released a collection of limited-edition merchandise offerings to commemorate the side.
These goods include a Potato Cake Amber Necklace, a Potato Cake Candle, an enamel pin, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. The collection is available for customers to browse on ArbysShop.com while supplies are still available.
Arby’s has just added a number of intriguing new items to their menu, and the Potato Cakes are just one of them. After making their comeback in late May, the chain’s limited-edition burgers are still made available to customers at this very moment.
Customers have the option of selecting between a Deluxe Burger, which stands at 687 calories and features American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a special burger sauce on a toasted brioche bun, or a Big Cheesy Bacon Burger, which stands at 797 calories and includes all of the same toppings as the Deluxe Burger, in addition to serving crispy bacon.
