Burger King Is Bringing Back Three Popular Burgers Tomorrow

There will be one pound of beef in every Burger King burger starting on January 5. The Burger King Quad BK Stacker has over a pound of meat between the two buns, and that’s just the ground beef. Additional bacon slices make it even more meaty. A fan-favorite sauce and four slices of American cheese complete the monster burger.

Start off 2023 with Burger King’s BK Stackers lineup, which includes the Quad BK Stacker and two more burgers. According to Chew Boom, the Triple BK Stacker and Double BK Stacker are (slightly) smaller cousins of the four-patty, four-cheese-slice burger. The first burger has three patties of beef and slices of American cheese, while the second has two patties and slices of cheese.

The NYT reports that fifteen years ago, the Stacker burgers, which include the Quad, were initially launched. These obnoxious concoctions, like these fatty burgers, helped boost the chain’s sales in the late 2000s among the 18–24 age group. Launching its “Reclaim the Flame” campaign last year, Burger King aimed to elevate its products after falling to second place in America’s most popular burger joint in 2020. Wendy’s doesn’t have any burgers that have four patties, but they do have a handful that have three patties stacked with different kinds of toppings and buns.

Redditors who love the burgers remember having them while they were in college and can’t wait to have them again. Some people are worried that the Quad Stacker’s price will go up to $20 because of all the meat it can carry in this inflationary times.

There is currently no nutrition information or pricing accessible for the American consumer because the Stackers are not listed on Burger King’s website in the US as of this writing. In terms of caloric content, several articles written after the Stackers’ original release claim that the Quad contained nearly 1,000 calories. The nearest fast food equivalent, the 4X4 burger from In-n-Out, contains 1,050 calories.

Update: You can get the Quad Stacker for less than $7 in most places now that it has launched. There are 810 calories and 53 grams of fat in it, according to nutrients.
