The 29th of February, or Leap Day, is coming up on Thursday. Many culinary establishments, like Krispy Kreme, are releasing specials in honor of the quadrennial day.
You are fortunate if your birthday is on February 29th. Get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts on Thursday for free, no purchase required. Presenting evidence of your birthday is required to redeem this deal. You can only get one free dozen per customer when you visit the store or use the drive-thru.
Even if your birthday isn’t on February 29th, you can still celebrate Leap Day with your loved ones. With the “2/29” date in mind, Krispy Kreme is running a promotion on February 29th where you can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2.29 when you buy any dozen doughnuts at regular price. You can take advantage of this promotion via the drive-thru, on the web, or in-store.
You need to enter the code LEAPDAY when you check out digitally to get the discount. There is a maximum of two per customer for in-store and drive-thru orders, and one per customer for delivery and pickup. You can get both Leap Day deals at stores all throughout the country.
According to a business statement by Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme, an extra day in the year presents an irresistible chance for Krispy Kreme to be extra-sweet to our guests. Therefore, we’re making Leap Day more enjoyable for a lot of people, including those whose actual birthday is only every four years.
There are more Krispy Kreme freebies happening this month outside the Leap Day promotion. When AT&T’s cellular network went down on February 22, the doughnut shop gave out complimentary Original Glazed doughnuts to everyone who couldn’t get service.
Krispy Kreme’s “Chocomania” collection, a limited-edition offering of four doughnuts adorned with Hershey’s chocolate, is sure to satisfy doughnut lovers’ cravings for variety.
The Galaxy Brownie from Hershey’s is the first on the list. It’s a doughnut stuffed with dark fudge cream, iced in chocolate icing, and garnished with rainbow sprinkles and crispy brownie bits.
The Black & White Chocolate Chip Dream from Hershey’s is a great choice for those who enjoy black and white cookies. Mini chocolate chips, a spray of Hershey’s chocolate frosting, and white icing top off this Original Glazed doughnut.
