Subway is adding three more cheesy footlong snacks to its menu, following the recent return of its famous Footlong Cookies due to temporary supply problems.
A new variety of Footlong Dippers, made with lavash-style flatbread and stuffed with melted cheese and pork, is now available at Subway. With 470 calories for Pepperoni and Cheese, 400 for Chicken and Cheese, and 470 for Double Cheese, these new options are available in three varieties and have a suggested price of $3.
Honey Mustard (60 calories), Creamy Sriracha (40 calories), and Baja Chipotle (70 calories) are just a few of Subway’s eleven unique sauces that come with these. In other words, Subway lovers have a staggering 33 sauce and Footlong Dipper combos to choose from.
Subway introduced a variety of footlong snacks and sweets called “Sidekicks” in January of this year, and the Footlong Dippers will be joining that lineup. In addition to the 1,330 calories in the Cinnabon Footlong Churro and the 330 calories in the Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel, the assortment also features the Footlong Dippers and the Footlong Cookie.
Subway has been trying to revamp its image and menu with improved ingredients, artisanal sandwich alternatives, freshly cut meats, and other new innovations ever since it faced sagging sales and a bunch of shop closures in recent years. Subway claims that adding more items to its Sidekicks menu is a further development in this direction.
Doug Fry, president of Subway North America, made a statement saying that the new Dippers are a perfect example of how Subway has improved its food and customer service in recent years to cater to modern diners.
The new Dippers strike a balance between the iconic footlong and the company’s dedication to convenience, crave, and value. Since their launch in January, our visitors have gobbled approximately 30 million Sidekicks, and we guarantee that all 33 flavor combinations of Dippers, which cost $3, will be just as enticing.
The introduction of new Subway menu items this year is looking quite promising. The restaurant introduced a new wrap collection in April, joining the Sidekicks and Footlong Dippers.
The wraps come in four different varieties and are served on Subway’s lavash-style flatbread: Homestyle Chicken Salad, Honey Mustard Chicken, Turkey, Bacon & Avocado, and Cali Caprese. The consumer can customize their calorie count by selecting their preferred toppings.
In the same month, Subway’s beloved Honey Oat Bread (430 calories) made a triumphant return after a four-year absence. Creamy Sriracha sauce, which was formerly available at only a few locations, is now permanently available.
