Several new items are being introduced by Taco Bell this month. Just like clockwork, the company hasn’t stopped innovating; two new things are now accessible across the country, plus there’s a thrilling new regional item that’s exclusive to Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. On July 18, the highly awaited drop was officially available.
The Cheesy Street Chalupas are one of the new items available at any of its locations across the country. Two palm-sized, crunchy chalupa shells stuffed with melted pepperjack and mozzarella cheese and served with a choice of slow-roasted Cantina Chicken or grilled, marinated steak are the new additions to Taco Bell’s Chalupa menu, which initially appeared in 1999.
Each package contains two chalupas, doused in a creamy Jalapeño Ranch sauce and garnished with chopped onion and fresh cilantro. This cheesy spin on a traditional Mexican street dish is on sale for $5.99 for a limited time.
Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries, a spicier variation on the classic Nacho Fries, are another highly-anticipated option. Among the chain’s longest-running menu items, these beloved potatoes initially appeared in 2018 and gained tremendous popularity.
One of the most beloved series continues with its eleventh edition. This spicy twist was likely inspired by you if you’re the kind to always top your nachos with jalapeños and hot sauce. A variety of Mexican spices are used to season them, and then they are topped with Jalapeños Ranch Sauce, which is sour, creamy, and quite spicy.
The ranch sauce is the key component; it’s a combination of reduced-fat sour cream, buttermilk, garlic, pasilla peppers, red jalapeños, parsley, and what the restaurant chain refers to as “spice mixture that is kept a secret.” To finish off your meal, lovers, you can finish it off by adding some fresh pico de gallo and the meat or black beans of your choice that have been seasoned.
In addition, limited quantities of the new Crunchwrap sliders will be made available at specific locations in Akron and Cleveland for a limited period of time. Following the launch of the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap in May, this new edition of the Crunchwrap is currently going through the process of being tested or launched.
For $3.99, you can get a set of two mini Crunchwraps with nacho cheese dipping sauce as a Cheesy Crunchwrap Slider. On top of each Cheesy Crunchwrap is a small tostada, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream with less fat, and seasoned beef.
The tortillas are cooked on a grill. For an additional dollar, fans may have a Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Slider, which consists of Crunchwraps filled with grilled steak, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, creamy chipotle sauce, and a Green Chile Queso dipping sauce.
